Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a Mandari Travel representative will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your safari adventure. Overnight stay at a comfortable midrange lodge.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, home to large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, soaking in the natural surroundings.
Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos, the park offers scenic drives through diverse habitats. Afternoon game drives provide opportunities to see elephants, baboons, and abundant birdlife. Overnight at a comfortable lodge with views of the Rift Valley.
Day 4: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the morning. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, where you can see lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, and possibly black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before driving to your midrange lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, return to Arusha, with optional stops for photography or souvenirs along the way. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, concluding your 5-day wildlife adventure in Tanzania.
