Day 1: Arusha – Arusha National Park – Arusha
Your safari begins early in the morning as your driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in Arusha. For a short drive to Arusha National Park, located about 45 minutes away. Upon arrival, you’ll start your morning game drive through diverse habitats, including lush montane forests, open savannahs, and sparkling lakes.
Keep your eyes open for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, and the rare black-and-white colobus monkeys that thrive in the park’s forests. Bird lovers will enjoy spotting a variety of species, especially around the Momella Lakes, where flocks of flamingos and other waterbirds gather.
