Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a Mandari Travel representative will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by gardens and mountain views as you prepare for your safari adventure. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, home to one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. The park’s ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife provide fantastic photography opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Tarangire wilderness.
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
Today, travel across the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the legendary Serengeti. As you enter the park, begin spotting wildlife right away lions resting in the grasslands, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and herds of wildebeests on the move. Arrive at your lodge in time for sunset views across the plains and a delicious dinner.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti – Great Migration Experience
Spend the day exploring the Serengeti during the Great Migration season. Depending on the time of year, you may witness thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing rivers or grazing across the open savannah. Your guide will take you to the best areas for wildlife viewing and photography. Return to your lodge in the evening for a cozy dinner under the stars.
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro. Stop at a Maasai village for a cultural experience before continuing to your lodge located on the crater rim. From here, you can admire sweeping views of one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha – Departure
Start early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to an incredible variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before driving back to Arusha for your onward flight. Your safari ends with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wild beauty.
