Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your Mandari Travel representative will welcome you. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for a safari briefing and overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its elephants, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest along the Tarangire River. Overnight near the park.
Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Travel to the Ngorongoro Highlands for a scenic journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at viewpoints for photo opportunities before reaching your lodge. Optional evening briefing about the next day’s crater descent.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and flamingos in this unique caldera. After lunch, drive through scenic highlands to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive

Day 6: Serengeti – Zanzibar – Departure
Transfer to the Serengeti airstrip for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing day on the island’s beaches or explore historic Stone Town. Depending on your flight schedule, you may continue your stay in Zanzibar or connect to your international departure, concluding your 6-Day Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Extension.
